As we all know,
hunting any big game animal is a challenge.
When you take this to the level of practice and experience to take on
any animal with archery equipment, this is the ulitmate challenge; as I
call it "My Extreme Sport"
My
group of friends and family has been
archery hunting for moose for 10 years in North Western Ontario. This
year is my sixth of attending. I class myself as a minor member of the
fraternity as there are two members who are archery hunters of many
years experience and successful hunts.
One
of the defining factors in our
success as most archers know is scent control. Elimination of human
odours and use of attractant scents have played a huge part in our
sucess. Through my relationship with one of the founders of Buck Stop
Canada, Ewan Huxter, and many years of friendship and hunting with him,
I was able to access and utilize their products. All of our hunters use
Buck Stop Scent Blocker;
as well, we all carry Cow in Heat
and use Natural
Earth
cover scent on our hats or jackets.
